If you have a cheque returned, it is likely that your financial institution will charge you an NSF fee. You will also be in arrears to us and will need to immediately make a payment to cover the returned cheque. You should contact your Collections Officer to make appropriate arrangements.

In addition, it is an offence to knowingly write a cheque for which there are insufficient funds in your account. If we have reason to believe that was the case, we may hand the matter over to the police for further investigation.
